The government has promoted 59 administrative and personal officers to the rank of assistant secretary (non-cadre) on Tuesday.

A notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration confirmed the promotion in the afternoon.

As per the notification, the promoted officials have been designated as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) at the Ministry of Public Administration, with future postings to be determined according to regulations.

These officials will receive salaries and benefits in line with Grade 9 under the “National Pay Scale, 2015,” as stated in the notification.
