Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed
profound shock and sorrow at the death of Ghulam Arieff Tipoo, the chief
prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).

In a message of condolence, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul
and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, an official release of the
press wing of the Prime Minister said.

The noted lawyer breathed his last around 8am while undergoing treatment at
LabAid Hospital in the capital at the age of 93.
