A press release of Bangladesh Land Developers Association (BLDA) has informed that the owner of a business called Rangdhanu Group Md. Rafiqul Islam and his two sons Kawshar Ahmed Apu, Mehedi Hasan Dipu and daughter-in-law Maliha Hossain along with various individuals, institutions and financial institutions. It has been alleged that he is committing fraud through various transactions including land/plot purchase and sale. And there are also allegations that many people have been cheated by purchasing these bogus land/plots. The complaints received are being investigated and verified by the Bangladesh Land Developers Association.

In this case, buyers are advised to be careful not to purchase any land/plot from Rangdhanu Builders Ltd. owned by Rangdhanu Group. Even after that, Bangladesh Land Developers Association will not take any responsibility if someone is cheated by buying land and plot from Rangdhanu Group
